Working from geographical references, Nina individually sculpts each landform in her Isle of Mull studio before painting and sculpting the surface by hand.
As the material is worked, its distinctive patterns form organically across the surface, meaning no two pieces can ever be exactly alike. As each map is made by hand, the pattern is always different and can never be recreated.
No moulds are used; each map is individually made from beginning to end.
