BIO

Nina Tans is a Finnish artist and designer with degrees from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (BA Womenswear) and King's College London (MA International Marketing - Executive). Her background combines artistic expertise with business education.

Having worked as a designer in both Paris (Christian Dior Couture) and London (J&M Davidson & founder of SzuTan London) her experience in the fashion industry  

 

 

 

with a background in luxury casual wear.

Since entering the industry I have worked for large fashion houses as well as having co-founded a womenswear label in London. These experiences combined with my education have given me a strong understanding of the design process from beginning to the end. Having worked with manufacturers and suppliers I am accustomed to communicating design ideas to production teams. The experience of running a start-up has also broadened my scope in marketing, branding and market analysis.

I am a commercially minded designer with a passion for producing functional and high quality products. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and am used to working within both tight deadlines and design briefs. I am looking for a role in a brand with clear design objectives with room for creative product development. Positivity and a strong work ethic are qualities I aim to bring with me to a team environment.
