This print features a single, flowing strand of bladderwrack, inspired by seaweed collected around Calve Island, just off the coast of Mull. There’s a simplicity and elegance in the way it moves across the page — quiet, but full of character.
 
The original painting was selected for the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, 144th Annual Exhibition, held at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, 2025.
 
Every piece features a wax seal on the front, embossed with the artist’s actual signature, and is hand-signed on the back for authenticity. Each print includes a white border ranging from approximately 1 cm to 3.5 cm, depending on the size of the artwork.
