Framed     22.5 cm x 31.5 cm

Named after the island of Gometra on the west coast of Scotland, this painting was inspired by the seaweed found along its rugged shoreline. The piece has a mix of red, yellow, green, and brown in the fronds — colours that felt earthy and alive, just like the place itself. The painting follows the natural curves and movement of bladderwrack in the water, capturing a quiet kind of energy. It’s framed in a vintage black frame, in keeping with the others in the series.

Gometra Bladderwrack was proudly featured in the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, 213th Annual Exhibition, Mall Galleries, London  at the Mall Galleries, London, 2025.

Every piece features a wax seal on the front, embossed with the artist’s actual signature, and is hand-signed on the back for authenticity. Each print includes a white border ranging from approximately 1 cm to 3.5 cm, depending on the size of the artwork.
